CAPNUTRA has a decade long experience in organizing and performing plethora of educational and training events for CEEC regional (academic and governmental) stakeholders regarding capacity development in public health nutrition research, aiming to create solid professional platform sustained by educated and creative individuals, who can together improve public health nutrition and contribute to foundation of sustainable food systems.
These education and training events covered topics such as: development of food composition databases, application of food and nutrition tools in research and in practice, elements of research infrastructure in public health nutrition, nutritional education and awareness, biodiversity in food production and other elements of sustainable food systems etc.
